| GENERAL RULES |
| U.M.R.A. SPOKESPERSON(S)- -Will remove from the grounds any U.M.R.A. staff, participant(s), or spectator(s), and/or competition vehicle for any unsafe and/or discourteous action including , but not limited to, fighting, unsafe horesplay, undue offesive profanity, unsafe operation of any vehicle. -Will disqualify, with discretion, a participant and/or competition vehicle, without a refund, for any violation(s) of general rules, regulations or class rules. -Will determine running order of classes. -Will use all means available to ensure the most accurate results are possible (i.e. Video, Photo, or UMRA Spokespersons) -Will have final say on rulings. |
| CLASS RULES |
| A PARTICIPANT - -May report any class rules violation of other participants, to the U.M.R.A. tech(s), as long as they are a paid participant of the class in question. -May report any concerns, other than that pertaining to tech rules, to the U.M.R.A. spokesperson(s). -May request a rerun if he/she is the first to run in a class scheduled for a single pass. -May enter a class twice as long as it is in a different competition vehicle. -Must be at least 18 years of age and hold at minimum a valid operators license if entered in class 100 thru 800. -Must wear a minimum of a lap belt or 4-point harness in accordance with class rules at all times when within boundaries of the pit. -Must wear, in addition to D.O.T. approved helmet, a full face shield or approved protective eye wear if operating an open top vehicle or atv. -Must report to registration any mechanical failure immediately or forfeit a possible refund. -Must be careful, courteous, and cautious of their actions and of those around them. -Must stop at any time instructed to do so by U.M.R.A. staff. -Must attend drivers meeting. -Must not drive on any property not deemed for use by the U.M.R.A. or become responsible for any possible charges that may be levied by property owners. -Must not proceed through pit unless indicated to do so by a green light or U.M.R.A. staff. -Must not pull the cable out of the pit unless instructed to do so by U.M.R.A. staff. |
| A COMPETITION VEHICLE- -May, once qualifying for a class, enter a higher class without meeting upper class guidlines. -May enter only three classes it qualifies for. -May only be entered twice in one class. -Must be equipped with a rear bumper and/or secure rear hitch in accordance with class rules. -Must have clevis mounted at the rear of competition vehicle in the center to assure easy access for hook up. -Must be equipped with a minimum of a lap belt or 4-point harness in accordance with class rules. -Must be able to stop within a distance determined by U.M.R.A. officials or be disqualified. -Must be driven to tech station located near registration on the south side of the return track. -Must be equipped with clevis large enough to easily accept U.M.R.A. cable hook. -Must be a 4-wheel drive vehicle with exception of atv's. -Must have an approved roll cage if an open top competion vehicle. -Must be pulled backward out of pit if unable to complete a full pass. -Must meet all class rules and safety requirements to participate. -Must pull cable unless determined otherwise by U.M.R.A. officials. -Must be able to drive forward out of pit to qualify for a time. Once the front tire of the vehicle has passed the finish line the race is over. -Must be in neutral when-Being hooked up -Being unhooked -Being towed. -Must not have loose objects in or on the competition vehicle. -Must not be modified on race day other than tire changes. -Must not be equipped with chains or dual wheels. |
| RULES- -Are subject to change only if it is deemed necessary due to an oversight that may give a participant or competition vehicle an unfair advantage over the majority of others in the class. -Are intended to keep classes aligned as fairly as possible. |
