Church Bay at Christmas

I spent Christmas this year with my boss, his wife and a friend of theirs from Australia. On Christmas Eve, my boss took me sailing around Lyttleton Harbour, where we got to see some Hectors dolphins, the smallest dolphins in the world. On Christmas Day, I laid out on the beach, read my book, swam a bit and then we had a lovely lightlunch with some friends from around the bay. My contribution to the dinner was an apple pie, and luckily enough, no one died due to my contribution (Phew!). Here are some pictures of Church Bay on Christmas.

Here are two views of Church Bay from the top of the hill. There is no access to their house via the road, so I parked my rental car at the top of the hill and walked down gingerly.
These are two views from Church Bay across to Lyttleton Harbour. These are views from the house, at the bottom of the hill. In the right picture, you can see the sailboat moored in the water.
