Cathedral Square
Cathedral Square represents the City Centre of Christchurch. All bus routes radiate from the City Centre. Outdoor markets fill Cathedral Square on Friday afternoons, and the World Buskers Convention (convention of Street Performers) was just held there this past January. Here is a view
of the Square from up the street. On the right hand side of this street
is the Holy Grail, a three story Sports Bar with numerous TV's, a betting
agency, casino, arcade, dance floor and pool room. I have spent good
times here already, one of which was experiencing Super Bowl Monday
with a bunch of gridiron loving Kiwis and Americans.
