In Which We Learn What I've Done

You know, for someone who's (presumably/hopefully) not even halfway done with his life, I've done a helluva lot of really cool things.

No, I haven't scaled Everest.

No, I haven't delivered any babies.

No, I haven't cured any diseases, either.

Okay, so maybe in the giant scheme of things they're not too cool. But they're cool to me....

Here's my resume. Like all resumes, it's kinda boring to look at, but it sure does tell a lot about what I've been up to, career-wise.

As mentioned elsewhere, I've taught in South Korea, and my column about life in "The Land Of The Morning Calm" is being published by Big World Magazine. It's a pretty cool mag. Their publishing schedule's a little erratic, and (for some reason I have yet to ascertain) they're publishing my columns out of sequence, but I don't hold that against them and neither should you. If you have no patience, and want to read all of my columns at once, all in the same order they came out of me, click here. If you have a little patience, and want to read a tremendously nifty travel mag, pick up a copy wherever you find it, or e-mail them for a subscription. You will not be disappointed.

This same link is also the place to read short stories, grim fairy tales, Christmas letters, and other scribblings of mine.

Consider yourself warned.

I've also spent waaaaaaay too many years (since 1991) involved with GYRO's World of Terror. At various times, I have been GYRO's Performance Director, Design Director, Volunteer Director, or Volunteer Coordinator, as well as serving on GYRO's Design Committee. Basically, I'm one of the people whose responsibility it is to make sure the Haunted House works. I make sure the scares are well-done, I make sure the sets look good, I make sure the sets get made, I make sure the props are made--maybe they should just change my position to "I Make Sure" and leave it at that....
