More PARADE
We had no idea where the band was, or when it was going to get there.  Then we discovered it on the other street.  Yay for us.  I grabbed my camera and in traditional Suemoe fasion started taking poo-loads of pictures.  Then I frantically searched for Ashleigh Hogan who was out for a broken elbow so she could carry my camera.

Unfortunately for us, we were marching in front of the band.  Well, that's not so unfortunate, marching was fun.  The bad part was the band refused to keep up with us from the very beginning.  So most of our time was spent marching in place, waiting for them to catch up.  I don't know what brought it on, but the band stopped about 100 feet behind us while we kept marching oblivious.  So while they were stopped there by the bank, we were stopped doing the same thing over and over to the same crowd right under the walkway that goes over Demers.  Then over the demers bridge, we didn't know they weren't allowed to play on it and the drum cadence started.  We got a little carried away w/our fancy clapping (ok, that might've been my fault - but I liked it).

But for as much as I complain, I had a lot more fun marching than I did the previous year riding in a pickup yelling my lungs out to the school song.
I don't think many of them knew they were in the picture - ha! you are!

I call Kayla Haley for some reason.  I don't know why, but her real name is KAYLA (I hope) so if you save this picture, that's why it's misspelled.
