Sweet Secrets
Sweet Secrets that I have with me
and hide within my eyes
reveal me not, to someone else
until the time is right

For I treasure every moment
and the instant of surprise
when on a mortal's lips you'll hear
that they're too young to die
There's so much that they should've done
or things they should've said

A little late for that I guess
in this moment mortal's dread
But Death is swift, so sickly sweet
and my Secrets stay with me
Something no one else will know
except for Death and thee
