BLACKROCK 01

A SHORT RUN DOWN OF THE DAY

Well what can we say about BlackRock?

AIS came out all pumped up, this was the tournament we all had been waiting for, Doherty had perfectly groomed us to win this damn cup. UWC and OFS came in their little pretty tracksuits, with all their gay sponsors written all over them. We came with just our jerseys, all green with a yellow number, half of us didn't have mouth guards either.

JCo*k and his boys were looking lovely for the tournament, they all were wearing Tommy and they had all taken about a half hour making sure their hair was in good shape. OFS were almost looking like soccer players but UWC stole the glory.

The first game against Chinese High was a beauty to get our confidence into wack. The forwards knew what they were doing and the backs continued to put ball through the hands, bringing Pecker into the line up, and adding extra speed to the backline. Great combinations from Nick and Philby kept the ball alive. Forwards like Cammy, Wacko, Nat and Stevo always supplied good support and were the first to the ruck, especially Stevo who was there all the time. We kicked arse against Chinese High 36-0 No "rentaref" could help them this time.

The French School: The Frogs, they stole the World cup hopes from the Kiwis, and we had never beaten them. Wacko was firing up the team as the french school hopped onto the field. At this stage the ball was slippery so the game was very sloppy and the unhappiness was shown by the French school through their Jibberish. The Forwards lost a lot of ball due to the sloppiness of play, so the backs rarely received good ball in hand. They were on our half the whole match, and their were only a couple of line breaks by AIS throughout the match. At a later stage, when the Captain had come on, the forwards began working together, they started getting a lot of phase ball, which kept going, but hopes of scoring a try dissipated as the end was near. The score was 0-0 We still have never defeated those damn frogs. This fired up AIS a lot more!

After our match, OFS played UWC And UWC only defeated OFS by one try. Their immaturity and bad sportsmanship was shown when they jumped up and down like little girls after their victory, JCok was asking if any body wanted his autograph, the chicken legged winger was asking if he looked fat. Although, we were not the one's who had lost to UWC, we were pretty disguted about how they acted after their victory, and we were not gonna let them do that to us in the final. We were gonna show those rich little poms the door to soccer, and tell JCok that Venom is open on Sunday nights(gay nite). However, the rain beat us to it, and ended the tournament giving us runner up by default, F#%K!!!!!.

BlackRock showed to the old rugby players who have played since under 7's that the boys such as DA, Hugh, and a couple of others have picked up the game of rugby wuickly, well done guys. Congrats must go to, Mr Doherty for leading us into an almost victory, to Jack the captain, and to the winners of players of the Day,Cammy, John CokBoy (who took half a dozen photos when he received it),Richard, Frenchy, that chinese guy, and the other chinese guy.

Thankyou to the supporters we have had this term which have mainly been girls, thanks a lot, you lifted our spirits and gave us another reason to want to win, to the parents and to Mr Doherty, who has been a great coach all term, with his experience, skill and toughness our rugby quality has improved dramatically.

Rugby against OFS 21/2/01

This was the first game together as the new team. There was a lot of previous worries of how we were going to peform against the old arch rivals OFS. UWC TENS 3/3/01

Match Info:
The day began well, all boys were fired up, some were still recovering after a seedy night, and were ready to take wear their green jerseys and hit the field. The boys were going at it the whole time, pushing the ref's inexperience to the max, all was awesome until jacks f*cken fat head got in the way and sent Macca to the blood bin for 7 stitches. Jacks reply was a try 1min later on Raffles line. The first game against Raffles was a walk over and the boys proved that they had a chance in winning the 'Rich Pricks cup'.

People were surprised to see Lewis "Rugby's not my game" Wilson contradict himself by turning up and offering his body for the chopping block. Dirty "U guys wanna here a story" Andy, Wacko, boy and Pecker, were looking in a bad way, after the nuts from the night before had given them heavy dehydration, but no complaints were heard out of their mouths, showing their sheer determination. Philby "don't worry guys, my hairs ok" Wright and C2 looked in perfect shape and ready to do battle in their second match against UWC B. Big "Back me up" Red, Huey, Tim "P whipped speirs", J1, Big old Tank'e' and small mike, showed that their quiet, conservative and caring night before proved to have a positive effect on their game.

UWC B
The game was a messy one, a lot of loose ball and a lot of dazed heads covered the field. The team was lead by Wacko Walding and. The game basically showed a lot of cat and mouse, one try to AUS and another to UWC b, The game ended in a brilliant try set up by the capt, and was backed up well, by all. AIS the whole game was by far the better team, but the scores did not reflect that. AIS winning like 5 tries to three or 4 - 3.

ACJC
Those Anglo Asians showed that the hormones were back on sale in the black market as they walked out with their big legs and tiny..... After the sledging from ACJC to the aus school by for some reason calling us "Pussy's" the AIS rugby team was gonna try to defeat those wankers in the semi's so they could challenge for the cup. The 'rent a ref' reflected how he ref'd by the way he smelt (like shit) and missed some crucial mistakes which were made by the oppostion. The frustration showed in the aussies as unforced errors were becoming more frequent. ACJC got away with some simple breaks which the wet disallowed the aussies for a valid chase. The boys never gave up, but their effort although great proved not enough to defeat ACJC who won fairly in the end.

To all those who played, congrats and bad luck, 2 weeks time is the revenge, and to all those who supported thanks heaps it means a lot to the boys to have their peers behind them and supporting their home team.

SCC 7's

TEAM: Ice Tea, Wacko(c), Pecker, Boy, Big Country, Macca, Tank'e', C2, Wilsy Wilson, and Big Red

"Well it was a good competition. With a little more practice I am sure we would of held the title."(Ice Tea)

The first day started off well and everyone was pumped although they suffered the effects of the night before. Tim had his powerful polarizing filter BOLE's and Bill has his Okley's. Bad luck to those boys that turned up and were not allowed to play due the regulations but your effort to turn up was much appreciated by the boys and it showed your loyalty to the team. DA especially who turned to support on both occasions and kept the spirit alive with his dirty jokes.

This time it was not Jacks head but Macca had got a little bit excited with the stapler. DA was a little upset when not able to accompany Macca to Radiology. However, all enthusiasm was not lost when he improvised with the water bottles.

Tank, Tim and Cammy provided some great, fast ball from the scrums and lineouts. Phil "Gel..... gel......, give me the f%#king gel!" Wright had his emergency stash on stand by, just in case of a tragedy. The gel must have run out though because when i touched his hair, it was soft.

The two golden boys, Jack and Graham, after a couple of solid nights, did not complain one bit and played like champs out there.Red'X'was running his guts out the whole two days and it was seen in his face, It outcoloured his hair! well done face. We have gotta hand it to the Red 'X', especially for his wicked try!

Tank, great stuff mate, on the whole time. To think all of the games, and all of his injuries but enthusiasm was never lost. I think that knee reconstruction of his was a lie just to get his fitness to the max.

Well this year Tim's passing had improved 100%, this time he knew he would not be penalised for 'holding the ball' so that meant no hand balls, just pure rugby passes, and hard runs.

Garth mate, your rugby is coming along nicely. Great stuff out there, Mr Doherty was impressed and thinks you're a great prospect for the future.

ACJC:
Lost 32-0

Yishun JC:
Won 27-0

Day2(In the PLATE-not the cup),

Some school(Quarter's):
We won quite convincingly

The Catholic school(Semi's):
We won 3 tries to nil

St Andrews(Grand Final):
Those dirty buggers were upset about their women running off with our men because, after Caddy's mate's quote "X pats have big.....!" They were trying destroy something of ours that they didn't have, no DA it's not what you think it is, but they were trying to push us to the limit and make us give in and fight with them and make us forget about 'skill'. Wacko was kicked in the head, Macca got the staples, the back line were elbowed and pinched, The forwards were kicked and punched, plus squashed by those huge blokes who definately went more than a couple of times to the subway across the road after raiding the free lunches. In the end we lost, but we played as hard as we could at that stage. Ignoring the filth that they were dishing out, they were the better team in the end. Being second is good though boys, because it means we have revenge on our sides.
Thanks to those legendary supporters, to the students and the parents, we felt that we had others to play for, besides our pride and selves, thanks again.
