| God's Promises When You Are Impatient |
| Psalm 27:13-14 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 37:7, 9 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes....For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. Romans 2:7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Hebrew 6:12 We so not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. |
