| The Goonies - Hilarious movie about some kids. Gotta love 80's kid movies. They're great. The Man In the Moon - No, not the Jim Carrey movie. This is an older move that has Reese Witherspoon in it when she was little. It's really sad and really good. Ghostbusters - Both Ghostbusters movies are HIGHLY recommended. They are so funny and so good. I love the Ghostbusters. I wish they were real. Planet of the Apes - The old ones are better because the NEW ONE DID NOT MAKE ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER. The Crucible - I had to watch this for history class and ended up really liking it. It's about the Salem witch trials. Signs - Slightly stupid when the alien things show up, but actually suspenseful. And Mel Gibson doesn't hurt. Pirates of the Carribbean - I love this movie. The ride at Disney World scared me a little though. Yeah, don't ask. The movie was really good. Shattered Glass - Based on a real story about a journalist who is basically insane. He makes up all of his stories and the place he works for finds out. It's really weird, but good. Pieces of April - Okay, Jesi hated this one too. The plot is basically a Thanksgiving dinner, but I liked it. It's another indie movie. The Battle of Shaker Heights - Shia LeBouf is in this movie. So that makes it good enough for you to watch. Romeo + Juliet - Yes, the one with Leonardo DiCaprio in it. I actually really like this movie, despite not understanding half of what they're saying. I love the modern twist. Very sad. Big Fish - Had to drive an hour and a half away to catch this in a theater, but it was definately worth it. Napoleon Dynamite - EXTREMELY FUNNY MOVIE. If you do not see this, you should just go ahead and kill yourself now for missing it. Wuthering Heights - The MTV version. I know, sorta trashy way to redo a classic, but I actually really liked this movie. It as still sad. Bang Bang You're Dead - Every one should watch this before they go to high school. Absolutely brutal. I completely empathise with the guy in this movie. It's incredible. Kids - Wow, this is one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. Larry Clark is an outstanding director. Although I don't recomment this to everyone, people that can handle harsh reality should definately check it out. The Good Girl - I thought this was a very honest, real movie. There aren't many of those. Definately worth checking out. Jawbreaker - This was funny. Worth checking out if you want to laugh at a dark comedy. Kids in the Hall - This was a very odd movie, although very hilarious as well. Matchstick Men - Interesting movie with Nic Cage playing an Obsessive-compulive con man. Check it out just for the weird twist at the end. Very interesting. Peter Pan - I'll admit, I LOVE this movie. It's absolutely adorable. Great kids movie. Saved! - Okay, I'm a sucker for Mandy Moore movies. I can't help it, they're so good. This was a little darker than her usual movies so it was even better. Also, Macauley Culkin is BACK! Sorority Boys - I thought that this movie would be a typical comedy with a few funny moments, but it was downright hilarious. Radio - A complete tearjerker. This was so sad. Everyone should watch this. |
