This is a 10 gallon tank that has been set up since March 2003. It originally housed
a couple a cichlids, but they quickly grew out of it. Now it houses a community of
characins and cyprinids. It contains live Wisteria that grows fairly fast. The quarter
coliseum is the focal point and takes up a large portion of the tank. When the fish were
smaller, they would scoot through the coliseum's open windows. A Fluval 2 Plus filter
was chosen for filtration, and an airstone is used for aeration. On a weekly basis, the
rocks are syphoned, and the glass and filter are cleaned.
