The Black Raven

In the dark storms that clutter my mind
The aristoi flaunt their luxuries in my face
I live in a place where the sun never shines
And the only one that smiles is the black raven
The black raven that consumes our energy
And imprisons the souls of my people
I lay here in the street waiting for death to find me
So once more I can be happy
My bride and I reunited in death
No more darkness and no more pain
I wait to gasp my last breath
So that the raven may feed on my corps
