| Dustin sees Julie at school and kisses her. She tells Dustin that she is really tired of seeing him in private and wants to go public. Dustin says it is a bad idea because they won't be together as much if her parents were to find out she was dating her brother's best friend. Julie thinks he has a good point and decides to keep quiet a little longer. Later that night, Jake and Dustin talk. Jake says it feels weird to be out now, but it feels so much better. Jake tries to get Dustin to come to terms, but Dustin doesn't want to and tries to leave. Jake apologizes and then Dustin comes back and tells Jake that he basically is confused right now. Then, Jake kisses Dustin and Dustin says that they've never done that before. Dustin is weirded out because to him, a kiss means you really like someone. Jake admits to him that his "crush" really was Dustin. The two kiss some more and take off their shirts. Then, Julie walks in and the guys fake like they are wrestling. Julie buys it and says she's going to be waiting in her room. The guys kiss one last time and then Dustin goes to Julie's room. He doesn't want to stay there too long, but Julie wants him there. Dustin keeps being quiet about everything they do and then Julie gives him an ultimatum; by tomorrow night he must decide to be with her publicly, or not at all. |

| Lisa feels depressed that Dan had given her a phony phone number to call. Then, she makes an analogy to herself and the main character of the book that the book club is reading, Frankenstein. Grace says that is impressive and that she really does know what is going on in the story. She encourages Lisa to go back to the book club to talk about the book so that Dan can see her inner-beauty. When they go to the meeting, Lisa blows everyone away when she comes up with themes and metaphors from the novel. Dan even comes to her room afterwards. The two talk and Lisa remembers that she needs to listen to other people. She asks Dan what his "tragic story" is and he shows her some scars that he got from jumping off cliffs. She thinks it is so cute and kisses him. Then, Dan sees Lisa's picture (the one where she looks like a model) and he asks her who that is. Lisa lies that it is her sister Agatha and Dan says he hates girls that look like that because they're so self-centered. Lisa just looks on as he says this. |
