Episode 40
Homosexuality; brother/sister triangle
As they walk down the hallway, Julie tells Jake they shouldn't both date Dustin just because he wants to. They agree to break it off with him, but when they see him, Julie tells him they've decided to go along with it. At first, Jake suggests they each have a day with Dustin, then Julie says that is stupid and they ought to pretend it's a game of dismissed where they give "time-outs." That night, they all get together and Julie wants to get closer to Dustin. She pulls out the same exact "Time-Out" card that they use on MtV's Dismissed. Jake goes in the other room while Julie and Dustin get their freak on. Jake walks back in and is surprised that they are practically naked. Then, he uses his time-out and starts making out with Dustin. Dustin stops him saying that he wants to take it slowly. Dustin tells Jake he has to go the bathroom and Jake is upset because now he is wasting his time-out. Dustin goes in the bathroom where Julie is waiting. Dustin can't handle it anymore and leaves. Jake and Julie apologize to each other for being so competitive and promise to never have the same boyfriend again.
One-night stands; falling in love
This guy named Adam must complete some record for his fraternity. The point is to have sex with a girl whose name starts with each letter of the alphabet. He is recently on Y. Zoe, Ursula, and Yolanda (interesting how all of their names are the last letters of the alphabet, ya know?) are talking and Zoe is sure that he will choose Yolanda as his Y. Yolanda doesn't want to do it, but Zoe says if she doesn't, he is never going to get to the Z's (as in Zoe). Ursula tells her it's no big deal and it's quite arrousing. Meanwhile, Adam is talking to his friend, Eric, saying that he has fallen in love with a girl. Eric tells him he needs to finish this alphabet game because if he doesn't, he'll never win the competition. Ursula walks by and introduces Adam to Yolanda, but he is more interested in Ursula. When they leave, Eric catches on that he likes Ursula. Soon, Adam goes to Ursula's room to have sex and she says under two conditions... 1: He must sleep with Yolanda and Zoe. 2: He must keep this a secret. He says ok and they have sex.
Gay-marriage; togetherness
Cody and Carter are making dinner and awaiting for their lovers to show up. Cody's new girlfriend Linda comes by along with Carter's boyfriend, Joel. Joel tells Carter that his apartment is being refurnished, so he needs a place to stay. Carter offers his place and Joel is thrilled. Linda then decides to invite herself to live with them as well. The four go down to the hot-tub and talk. Carter and Joel are so romantic and talk to each other saying stuff like they are soulmates. Linda thinks it is so cute and wants Cody to tell her that she is his soulmate. Cody doesn't, and she is a little saddened. Carter makes some joke about how Linda shouldn't ask certain questions to Cody. They all laugh and then Joel asks Carter a question.... He asks Carter if he will marry him. Carter is shocked and doesn't know what to say. He said he will think about it. Linda thinks it is so cute and wants to plan the entire party with Joel right now; even though Carter never answered. Cody and Carter stay in the hot-tub and discuss this. Cody tells Carter that if he and Joel are married/commited to each other forever, that's going to mean the rest of his life. Carter begins having second thoughts.
