When asked about the lyrics or humorous tone Unduhn takes, Kevin Snyder, the lead vocalist says, " I really try to be inspired to write something that is timeless and connects with common issues people deal with everyday, but at the same time it may be serious or just joking around. I'm very serious about our songs, just as serious as I am about eating tacos. I love tacos". Unduhn is not about being bogged down, serious, glamorous, rock stars, but to be ordinary people with something to offer that the world just doesn't have.

" We are Christians, but we are not trying to push God on people.", states Nathan Tarbert, lead guitarist, " We feel that if God is going to impact people it will be through us as people, not through our silly rock songs." Lindsey, the bass player comments," We really are just having fun. To our more serious rockin' music to our 'joke' songs.
