I enjoy going to the gun ranges (I belong to two), The Orange Gun Club
& The Southeast Texas Sportsman Club, to shoot a few rounds very relaxing. Of course I probably spend more time cleaning my pistols than shooting them. The good thing is, I always seem to meet new people or visit with old friends I wouldn't see otherwise.
I collect Recurve & Stick Bows, but shoot and hunt with a PSE compound bow ... a Jet Flight with Fire Flight wheels. That ought to tell any avid Bow shooters how old it is.
I'm usually in my shop working when not at my main job (Firestone, Orange Plant) or hunting for rocks in west Texas. I also try to make a yearly trip to Arkansas for Glass, Arizona for Jasper & Agate and to Alabama for Buffalo River when I can.
And if that doesn't take up all my time, I try to make The Gulf Coast Jar & Bottle Show in Houston, Tex.- Yes I collect old bottles, a Maveric Collector I should say, as I have a little of everything. I enjoy Pumpkin Seed & Poison bottles the most.
