I use a 20 in. HylandPark rock saw with bricks as filler in bottom to save on oil usage. I've seen rocks and metal plates used as well. You don't need more than 1/2 in. on your blade to lubricate, although I usually keep an inch on mine. By turning your blade around each time you clean the saw (as needed) you will extend your blade life. I've been using this one about 8 yrs. and still have at least half the life left. (It was used when I got it) |
