The Ouija Board has long been used as a connection between the spirit world and the physical world. It is considered a game by some, but by most it is considered a link; a strong link that when used incorrectly can result in terrible events. For this reason I highly recommend not using an Ouija Board without an experienced individual who is aware of the consequences. THE RESULTS CAN BE FATAL. Many people have reported contacting spirits. Remember the Ouija Board is nothing more than you make of it. It depends on what energy you contain within you to determine what effects you will get. Someone who is extremely focused and on a higher psychic level will most likely be able to contact higher beings, but then again they will also be able to contain them. Someone that does not know what they are doing will not be able to reach potentially hazardous spirits unless they are aided. For this reason, you should work with people who are on the same level as you. (Preferably in boy-girl pairs.)
The Ouija Board can be bought at nearly any toy store or book store. Parker Brothers makes a nice, inexpensive model. Wooden boards work best and the planchette (pointer) should contain some silver. Silver is known to ward off evil spirits. Never take what the Ouija Board says literally. They are famous for lying. Also be sure to say goodbye to the spirit to let it know you are done. If not the spirit may believe you are willing to let it stick around. This can make your life miserable. The longer a spirit surrounds and remains with you the harder it will be for it to leave. (They get attached, much like a person.)
Ouija Boards could be no more harmless than the simple game of Monopoly. It all depends on what you think of it. Or it could be a gateway to a spiritual world. Parker Brothers says it best with their slogan---It's just a game, isn't it? Why don't you decide? |
