Dosage
- 1 - 4 tablets or more tablets or capsules usually taken in the evening, but can be divided in equal or unequal doses through out the day when larger amounts of medication are taken *and breathe!*
Side Effects
common
- Drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, tremor, nausea, constipation, rapid heart beat
Unusual
- confusion, becomes hard to pee, decreased sex drive, throwing up, blurred vision, poor concentration, hallucinations, breast enlargement, intestinal cramps, rash
severe but rare
- yellow skin (stop taking medication and see your doctor immediately!!)
Venlafaxine
Trade Name
- Efexor
Type
- Antidepressant
Dosage
- tablets: 37.5mg - 75mg. twice a day, increasing the dose slowly
- capsules: one a day with food
Side Effects
common
- dizziness, sleeplessness, nervousness, nausea, diarrhoea, dry mouth
unusual
- tiredness, throwing up, sweating, general tiredness,
severe but rare
- High blood pressure (stop taking medication and see your doctor immediatly!!!)
