Article I: Election times/term length
Elections will be held annually on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March. (Except with the inaugural officers of the club.) Officers will be officially recognized in the following September on the first Tuesday of the month. Terms will last one calendar year.
Article II: Impeachment of Officers
Officers may be impeached with an extraordinary majority of the quorum of at least 90% of the members.
Article III: Succession of Officers
Succession will be as follows- President, vice president, secretary treasurer, web designer/advertisement manager, statistics manager, equipment manager, scheduling manager.
Article IV: Meeting Times
Meeting times with vary through the year, but meetings must be held at least monthly during the academic year with a quorum of at least 70% of the members.
Attendance at meetings, games, and practices must be at least 70% or penalties of restricted playing time or possible expulsion from the club is possible. Special consideration will be given to extraneous situations.
Article VI: Decorum
Proper behavior will be expected at all times as this club is representative of the University of Northern Iowa. Proper behavior includes but is not limited to sportsmanship, respect for authorities, and a alcohol/tobacco free environment.
Article VII: Removal from Club
If a member is not acting in accord with the BY-LAWS, an extraordinary majority of 75% quorum of the club may vote to expel the member. Careful consideration will be taken before such an action.
Article VIII: Appointment of the Officers
The president, vice president, and secretary/treasurer will be elected by simple majority. All managers will be appointed by the president, vice president, and secretary/treasurer with 2/3 majority.
Article VIV: Additional By-Laws
Additional By-Laws can be added with extraordinary major and endorsement by the president. Roberts Rules of Order will be followed unless it is superceded by this constitution.
