The club's most recent meeting was held on Mar. 21st to discuss updates for practices and procedures in the upcoming schedule.

The first priority was to determine the practice schedule in light of better weather and the upcoming conference games.  Practices have been moved from 9pm in the Dome to the following:

Monday: 4:30-6:30pm
Tuesday: Off day
Wednesday: 4:30-6:30pm
Thursday: 5:00-7:00pm
Friday: Optional practices TBD
Saturday/Sunday: Game days

The second priority was to discuss the teams situation to uniforms, players, and any other concerns players had.  This was followed by a quick review of signs and situational plays to be practiced over the upcoming weeks.  This concluded the meeting.

The club's first meeting of the year was Jan. 28th to dicuss various topics for the upcoming season.  These topics included:
Club Dues, Hats, Expectations, Practices, and New Member Information.

Club Dues: New Members = $40 + $20 for hat
Returning Members = $30

Hats: All new members must buy an NCBA approved club hat.  Not having this hat will result in no playing time and result in a forfeit.  This is an NCBA policy.

Expectations: Attitude towards playing the team should include having a serious attitude towards games and practices,  but also playing in a relaxed atmosphere and having fun.  We want this to be a positive experience with lots of success, but it starts with players showing up for practices and for games during the season.

Practices: Practice while there's snow on the ground will be held in the UNIDome MW @ 9pm.  These practices shouldnt last any longer than an hour or so.  Once the snow has cleared, practice will resume outside at the baseball field behind the Dome (between the softball and intramural fields).  These practices will be M - Th @ 4pm and shouldnt last longer than 2 hours or so.

New Members:  Our new members (and those still thinking of joining) were given a quick briefing of the club status, competition level, what to expect, etc.  If you would like more information about these topics, contact Neal or any other club officer.
