Peace
by
Sherry Jones

Clouds drift by
   as if spirites freed.
Weighted down no longer
   from heartache and greed.
A heart of a sun, beats,
   looking down on all.
As birds awaken - -
   give heed to their call.
A hint of jasmine
   on a summer's breeze.
One moment of silence
   our sould is at ease.
Tranquility awaits
   those who can see
That the path to peace
   is just to be.
