It was two twenty A.M. when the prisoners transportation van pulled up to R.P.D.

"You were the closest department we could find to host these scumbags" said the van driver to captain Mendez.

A loud explosion was heard from Umbrella Hospital. "Send a unit out to investigate the situation." Mendez ordered.

The unit arrived to find injured humans shuffling towards them. "Are you okay" one of the officers said as he placed his hand on her shoulder. The woman grabbed his arm extremely tight and took a bite down on his hand.

"Bitch!" the officer said as he threw her to the ground.

He turned around when he heard gunshots; he saw the whole team being attacked by what he thought was George Romero's living dead.

"What in the name of...arggh!!" screamed the officer as two of these zombies bit down on his leg and shoulder.

The officer shook them off but only to b surrounded by more of them. They knocked him to the ground and tore holes in his S.W.A.T. fatigues. He looked up at what he thought would be the last sky he would ever see when bullets shredded through the zombies which caused them to release Officer Roland. Roland stood up and saw that only three of the men had survived the attack out of the eight that went in. They turned around to see that three people were stealing the S.W.A.T car Officer Roland recognized them. It was Eric Mabius the college boy who enrolled with the R.P.D earlier this year but was denied, Alicia Belmont the scholar student of R.C.U. and Matt the college reporter at Raccoon press.

He ran for the van but it was to late they sped off down the street. Roland looked opposite the car and saw that huge mobs of these zombies were coming from the Raccoon hospital." lets report back to Mendez" Roland yelled they all charged down the streets firing recklessly at the undead that passed. When they arrived At R.P.D they found Mendez lying on the ground his face drenched in blood holding his arm.

"What happened?!" one officer said.

"We retreated inside but they came from the basement, they ¦must have gotten through  the back." Mendez said.

Roland picked him up and the officers walked through the double doors. They went into the left door of the main hall and took cover in the waiting room. Roland laid officer Mendez on the seats and ordered officer Jenkins to come with him to the hall to close the shutters. Jenkins stepped over the broken glass and down the hall to the second shutter lock. Roland finally shut the lock and the shutters on the windows closed.

"How yah doing down there?" Roland shouted, there was no response.

Jenkins stood face to face with a horde of zombies that ripped him apart. They threw his body so that his upper half stuck out into the firs section of the L-shaped corridor. Roland walked over to him trying to be as quit as possible and pulled him away as fast as he could. Roland let go of Jenkins and began to vomit when he saw that his bottom half had been ripped off and that his intestines were sprawled all over the floor. He collapsed to the floor and pushed back with his feet the undead were getting closer. He took out his hunting knife and rammed it into the zombie's head. He then pushed the zombie into the other swarm of them causing a domino affect. He opened the door quickly and locked it behind him.

"Son of a bitch!" Roland screeched. "Barricade this door now!!" he ordered.

The Officers went to grab the cabinets when they heard a loud screech and then the main door burst open sending a burning tanker truck into the main door. The boards of the door cracked and fire seeped through the cracks.

"We have to get the hell out of here!" one of the Officers screamed.

The team went out the door to the hall in which Jenkins was ripped to shreds. There were no zombies in site, Roland moved to the front and signaled for the team to move up. He opened the door when the glass shutters broke and zombies came pouring through the broken windows. Officer Grey was standing next to the window and was grabbed by three zombies. The zombies tore the flesh from his neck splattering blood on Officer Mendez and Snyder. Snyder and Roland fired rapidly at the creatures but it was no help they pulled Grey out the window leaving bloodstains all over the wall.

A zombie grabbed Roland's shoulder and made a rip right through his flack vest. He turned around and pushed back at the zombie but the zombie managed to bite down hard on his shoulder. Roland pushed the zombie off and the rest of the team followed him into the next room. They ended up in the storage room filled with crates and food. The officers made their way to the back door. They opened the door and ran to the opened door of a warehouse the Officers searched around until they found a door. Office Ramona opened the door and was ripped apart by a crowd of zombies.

The Officers climbed on top of the crates as hundreds of zombies poured in. The officers fired until they were completely out of ammo. The zombies climbed the crates and tore at the soldiers. Officer Roland was gashed in the arm and his left leg was ripped apart he took of his uniform and had only his t-shirt and combat pants remaining. He grabbed the vent shaft as zombies clung to his boots he shook them off and hung there watching as his compatriots bodies were ripped open.

The zombies finally ignored Roland when he took out his magnums. They were to distract by the medics that had just pulled up in an Ambulance. Roland dropped down and shot at the zombies that still remained in the warehouse. He slammed the door shut and sat to the ground. He observed the corpses of his men when his thoughts were interrupted by the screams of the EMT's and then, silence.
