| A treasure-trove for animation and Harryhausen fans, the four issues of FXRH contain hundreds of photos (many never before published) and indepth analysis of Ray's special effects and FX techniques, from his early experimental films and fairy tales through the feature films. Interviews with RH, Producer Charles Schneer and others, behind the scenes photos and frame-by-frame sequences and complete cast and credits for all of Harryhausen films are among the many features. Issue number two was entirely devoted to the effects for "Jason and the Argonauts". An 8x10 glossy photo was included with each issue. Cover art for issues 3 and 4 was by Mike Presley. Ernie Farino went on to a professional career in special effects. |
