View pdf for Nov 13 meeting
On August 7, 2001 we had a "Kickoff Meeting" for the community of Wiseburn.  We presented to the community a brief explanation of the unification process along with our 6 reasons to unify.

On October 16, 2001 the Chief Petitioners had a meeting where we determined the community had collected 27% (1,761) of the required signatures.  We decided to give it one last push for a safety margin of signatures and try to collect 2000.

October 17th through October 31st, the community gathered the signatures for the safety Margin we needed.

November 1st through November 5th we gathered all remaining petitions from our signature collectors and validated each and every signature on the petitions.

On November 9th, Tony Nakamura, Ron Nathanson  and John Peterson officially turned in the petitions with signatures to the county.

On November 13, 2001, we had a community meeting to update the Wiseburn citizens on our status.

On December 5, 2001, Tony Nakamura attended an LA County Committee meeting where it was announced that Wiseburn was approved with
28% of the community's signatures on the petition to unify.
