Dear Wiseburn Community Members,

Just a brief update on the status of the Wiseburn unification project for those of you who missed Tuesday's board meeting. Currently we are still waiting to hear from the state board for our hearing. In the meantime we will move forward with a few items:
1. We are making preparations to begin the long awaited Exploration Committee. John Peterson updated everyone who attended the board meeting. Some of the items on the agenda will be:
--campus Security
--open or Closed campus
--curriculum
--MOAs
--HS cost (Cost Options , Bonds)
--Transportation (Parking ,Traffic Flow
--Permit & transfer Students

2) John is preparing a letter to all gubernatorial candidates in getting their opinions/commitments on our Unification approval. All letters will be published on our web-site for our community members to view.

3) Tony Nakamura is preparing a "Grassroots Outreach Program" for Centinela Voters.

4) We are also drafting up an anniversary flier to pass out to the Wiseburn community bulleting our accomplishments so far.
