The sites that nominate in this category must have lots of information about LotR, lots of pics, lots of media, lots of everything. Your site really has to be good for this one.

I look at the originality, the use of effects (lighting, blurring, stuff like that), and how it impresses my eye. No msn or template layouts permitted.

For this one I would like to see lots of quality graphics. Remember, quantity is not relevant. Your graphics must be really impressing.

I want many quality pics, organized in a neat way. No messy gallery will get an award here.

Must be 6 months or younger, and I must find the date it was started somewhere on the home page or on a special dedicated site section. It has to be neat, even if it hasn´t got that much in it. Depends on how old it is.

Must be older than 6 months and has to be full of stuff to navigate. As for the Best New Site, I want to see the date it was started somewhere on the home page or other special dedicated sections.

I want to see original categories, fair & fast judging, and most of all, beautiful awards.

Must have lots of information about the actor / actress, lots of pics and stuff to navigate.

Must have lots of information, pics and stuff about the character it is dedicated to.

Must have plenty of updates, nearly daily improvements and a lot of dedication.

I look at pictures, layout and information. Must have lots of stuff about the movie.

For the best splash (index page with welcoming graphics) : must catch my eye and make visitors eager to enter.

Must be original and have a nice sound, I will translate names in other languages to see how they sound. If you use Elvish, make sure it is accurate.

Must have lots of information about everything : movie, book, cast, crew, objects and so on.

Must have lots of quality audio and video files : videos, audio clips...

I´ll look at forum, chat and tag-board to judge this. Must have a warm atmosphere and friendly vocabulary.

Must have lots of ways for visitors to interact : chat rooms, forum, tag-board, polls, pages with possibility of submitting things will be the basis to judge this category.

For the best discussion board only(the whole site must be a forum). I will judge how well members interact with each other, the level of the discussion and the general atmosphere.

Among the thousands of LotR fan sites out there, yours has to be really special. Has to be different from the rest, has to have that spark of originality that impresses me.

All sites are nominated for this, and it is the highest award you can get here. It will be given to the best site among all those who nominated.
