| Ken Dorsey 2002 Inductee |

| There’s not much to really delve into in the past of Ken Dorsey since I know nothing about it. I’m sure he was a great quarterback in high school, and thus was recruited by the Miami Hurricanes by the great Butch Davis. Dorsey was deemed one of the best quarterbacks in the college game in 2002. He led the Hurricanes to a National Championship in 2001 and a long winning streak that stretched into the Fiesta Bowl to culminate the College Football season. But, alas, back-to-back championships were not in the crystal ball for Dorsey. The Hurricanes lost to the Buckeyes, 31-24 in one of the greatest college football games. Yet, it was Dorsey’s actions following the game that were the final straw in his status of being annoying. It wasn’t enough to hear weekly, the “sports geniuses” praising Dorsey and the Hurricanes as the greatest player and team, but then to see the Hurricanes’ actions following their loss. An offensive lineman pushed away cameramen and reporters. And, Dorsey, sitting in front of his locker with a towel on his head and tears welling up. In the end, so many wins proved that Dorsey and the Hurricanes did not know how to lose and take it graciously. Or, to even take a positive spin, and be happy with their one national championship already and their accomplishments. Oh well, cry baby Dorsey, hope you enjoy a place as a backup quarterback on the Cincinnati Bengals, and a place on the bench in THE HALL OF CRAP SANDWICH! |
