How We Procede

When & Where
The Club meets for training every Thursday evening at 18:30 at The Fifield Polo Club outside Windsor. Coached by Stuart Frift of Professional Polo Inc. Lessons range from absolute beginner with no previous riding experience upwards to practise chukkas. Lessons cost £35 but the club charges £40 per head to cover travel costs (any savings going into club funds) unless you arrange your own travel.

How to get there.
BY CAR

  • See multimapfor driving directions. The club is ~100 yards east of the crossroads between Fifield Lane/Road and Oakley/Forest Green Road (The B3024) See Fifield House here

    BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

  • There is a train that leaves Guildford for Ascot which leaves every half hour and takes an hour. See timetable. Taxi's can be taken from Ascot.
  • Also Try Guildford to Twyford; takes about 50 minutes but involves a change at reading, or guildford-reading-maidenhead.

    PEOPLE WITH CARS

  • If you would be willing to drive the £40 charged other people allows the club to pay you significant petrol money dependant on how many people you take.
  • The club is looking to hire a University minibus but as yet has no driver. If anyone wants to do a minibus test they are easily arranged by Jackie Hollis in the Union. Requirement is that you are over 21, your driving license is clean and is over two years old. .
