DISNEY ORDERS CAPTURE AND KILLING OF DOGS BY HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
	Disney recently ordered stray dogs around its new park in Hong Kong to be caught and killed, in preparation for the grand opening of the park in September of 2005.  Some of these dogs had been used as guard dogs during the construction of the park.  According to Hong Kong Dog Rescue, Disney took no steps to solve or alleviate the stray dog problem prior to ordering the extermination of the dogs.  How paradoxical is it that Disney, a corporation that builds parks for families and children and creates such characters as Pluto and Mickey Mouse, orders the murder of one of America’s favorite companion animals???  A corporation with as many resources as Disney is morally obligated to treat all species with compassion and protect those that are less powerful.  Please contact Disney and express your outrage at Disney’s despicable behavior and urge it to spend part of its vast resources for protecting animals, not killing them.   Michael Eisner, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, California 91521 For more information, CLICK HERE.
