| The Hunting Heritage Protection Act (S. 1522) would require federal wildlife agencies to manage public lands by promoting and enhancing recreational hunting and trapping opportunities. Despite the fact that 95% of Americans do not engage in hunting or trapping, this bill would cater to special interests by using taxpayers’ money to optimize hunting and trapping opportunities to be utilized by 5% of the population.
