Mercury Radio Theater is from good ol' Philly.  I saw them for the first time not too long ago.  These guys are increadible.  Their genre is hard to classify.  I like to call it instro theatrical "good time" punk.  MRT's music has no vocals but rather a story-time slideshow to go along with their driving instrumental music.  MRT is not one of those bands that you THINK you have seen live.  Once you see Mercury Radio Theater, you will not forget it.  If they ever come through your town, it's well worth your hard earned cash to go see them.  They just released a split EP with the now dead Calebretto (rip) titled, "All of these things do not belong."  It cost me $10 but it's worth it.....it stayed in my CD player for 2 days and had me dancing for most of those 2 days too. www.mercuryradioland.com BACK
