Bio taken from the old uXu site- "Dogwood, while not really underground, is one of tooth and nail's best bands ever. They started off on the now defunct Rescue Records, releasing 'Good Ol Daze', which seems extremely hard to find. Buy it, it is really fast and good. Next, they released Through Thick and Thin, which was not as fast as Good ol... and has deeper lyrics. It's probably thier best CD to date. After TTAT, they made an independant release, which was just re-release on Facedown records and is titled 'This is not a new album'. After that, they made thier other best CD 'more than conquerors' which is more ######## and new school then thier other releases, but still very good! Next, they released one of thier best known CDs 'building a better me', which is a bit lighter then MTC, and has pretty worshipful lyrics. Thier newest release to date 'Matt Aragon', dedicated to thier groupie, is even lighter then Building a Better Me, but is still pretty good. This is just a short release history, but i'm trying to get all these bios up, then i'll go back over them and make them better. But for all the dudes that are into punk, try thier CDs Good Ol Daze, Through Thick and Thin, This Is Not A New Album, and More Than Conquerors. Thier newer stuff is lighter, which means more people like it, because they don't know the true goodness of punk" Dogwood homepage BACK |
