About Grupo Sabroso:
Grupo Sabroso was originally formed in May of 2001, under the direction of Rene Delgado, as an all male dance group.  Since then Grupo Sabroso has recruited some of the top female dancers in Toronto to form a couples group in addition to the all male dance group.

Grupo Sabroso, a much sought after Salsa Dance Group, had their debut at the Bacardi Salsa Congress in Detroit.  Additionally they have performed in Montreal during the Salsa Pallooza Workshop series and at numerous venues throughout the Toronto area.  Various members of the group have performed, instructed and/or taken workshops throughout North America (Toronto, Montreal, New York, Washington, Detroit, Puerto Rico).  Grupo Sabroso's varied dance background includes: Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin (i.e. Salsa, Merengue) and Latin Ballroom.

Check out this two-section group that will light up the stage with its action packed shows.  Watch for them to make a splash in the coming year as Grupo Sabroso have been asked to perform in various U.S. cities for 2002..

Why the name?  It was decided that the name of the group should reflect that of the members.  Sabroso, Spanish for the word flavour, fit the group with its diverse background (uniquely Canadian).
