We've decided to move out to the Feral House for the period of time after April until we make our final move into the land project,hopefully no more than a couple of months.We plan on taking trips down periodically to work on repairs. Workparties will be held to get the house up to shape. It should be a lot of fun, so keep checking back for date and time of the first one.
Aside for the repairs we plan on installing a water collection system and water tanks to provide running water for a shower and a sink.
We are also starting a land project. This will include the Feral House collective, as well as the URR collective. The basic structure of this plan is to obtain a large piece of land by a national forest. This will create a buffer zone for the forest so that loggers cannot purchase the land directly next to the national forest, to only start destroying the national forest, as well as the land we intend to obtain. With this land we will use alternative electricity, use recycled water, have organic gardens, as well as a number of other environmentally sustainable concepts, and ideas.
