| Here are statements from the UN Convention against Torture and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which reveal the kind of principles so anathema to church and state; principles which must be crushed for the New World Order as it is taking shape, to succeed: Preamble to the Convention against Torture: "Recognizing that those rights derive from the inherent dignity of the human person...." Preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR): "Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in the fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person...." There we have a succint statement of the principles anathema to church and state: INHERENT DIGNITY, DIGNITY AND WORTH.... To the institution of church, human beings have dignity and worth only to the extent that they serve its objectives, objectives which they do not articulate to the public because "church" today is morally bankrupt. Otherwise, one might reasonably expect it to be able to articulate even one model "City of God" (plus surroundings) or a "Culture of Life" if you prefer that expression. How shall we then live? (If we understand the principles which religion experts fraudulently claim to understand). http://www.yahoogroups.com/group/Future-Cities |

| "City of God" and "Culture of Life" are both expressions which Vatican speech writers have given Pope John Paul II to use. What is stopping one billion Roman Catholics and millions of self-professed religion experts from spelling out the City of God or Culture of Life which are called for? "City" and "culture" are not abstract expressions. They are given real-world expression every day. Similarly, "Culture of Life" has been given by the speech writers to President George Bush, Junior, for his use. What is stopping the institution of "state" from similarly articulating a culture of life? Again it is a matter of moral bankruptcy and the ascribing of dignity and worth to a human life only to the extent of shallow utilitarian objectives, objectives so shallow that its proponents dare not come to the light of day to articulate them. The exercise of describing a city plus surroundings is a way of making clear the kind of values and their expression which one espouses. In other word faith becomes expressed in works. But the campaign of church and state to crush INHERENT human dignity and worth goes on every day as the "DOC Paradigm" (see link from /new_world_order) is played out in thousands of settings, worldwide. The inherent worth of the human being must be crushed to coerce subservience to morally bankrupt institutions of church and state. CRUSHING INHERENT DIGNITY AND WORTH to be continued |
