THE INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS SINGAPORE
The 2000 IEEE International Conference on Management of Innovation and Technology (ICMIT 2000) will be held in Singapore. The conference is jointly organised by the IEEE Engineering Management Society and the Institution of Engineers Singapore. It is supported by the Institution of Electrical Engineers, the National University of Singapore and the Nanyang Technological University.
The conference will include regular sessions on the topics listed below: special sessions on management topics; plenary sessions on selected advanced aspects of the theory; case studies and short courses given by experts in specific state-of-the art subject areas.
Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers reporting original work and tutorial overviews in all areas of innovation management, technology management or engineering management.
Exciting new areas and problems in innovation management, technology management and engineering management will be presented in special sessions.
Short courses will provide up-to-date knowledge on important topics.
Topics for regular sessions include, but are not limited to, the following:

3. Technology Management
4. Management of Research and Development
5. Information Technology Management
6. Total Quality Management
7. Project Management
8. Supply Chain Management
9. Production and Operation Management
10. Management Issues of Asia-Pacific Countries

or in hardcopy form to: ICMIT 2000 Secretariat, Congrex Singapore, 43 Carpenter Street #04-01, Greatwood Building, Singapore 059922.
Full paper (max. 6 pages) in double column format, including paper title, authors' names and affiliation, and short abstract are requested. Authors are encouraged to submit the paper in electronic form. For hardcopy, please submit two copies for each paper. Once accepted, authors will be given detailed instruction to prepare the final camera-ready paper for the conference proceedings.

Proposals for Special Sessions, Plenary Sessions and half or full-day Short Courses may be submitted to the secretariat by 30 April 2000. Check the conference web site for up-to-date information.
