There is no Galaxy Cauldron in the Anime. The tv show messed up the entire season in my opinion. In the Anime they lead you to believe that Galaxia was fighting Chaos, and trys to seal Chaos away inside herself to destroy it, but Chaos takes over Galaxia's body. Before this happeneds she sends out her starseed 'The Light of Hope'.
There isn't much else to say about it besides that. She steals starseeds in the form of a Goldened Armored Galaxia. Sailor Moon frees Galaxia by using her light to reach inside of Chaos. This kills Chaos, and Galaxia sadly, and I'm not forsure if the whole 'she was spread into the hearts of everyone' thing happend here.
