Profile: Jean was the second student of Charles Xavier along with Scott, Hank, Warren (Cyclops, Beast, Angel). Jean was at one time referred to as Dark Phoenix when a cosmic entity possessed her body. The being who was initially good became evil when it was able to experience emotions through Jean's body. The creature was eventually stopped but not before its destructive rampage through the Shiar empire. Jean once again decided to use the name Phoenix to represent the power of light and make amends for the horrific deeds of the "Dark Phoenix."

At the moment she is mourning Cyclops' death, losing more and more of her telekinetic powers and she is facing the reprecussions of changing her name back to Phoenix.(Aliens who want revenge) |
