Today Jump Five did a concert in Rockford. They were part of an annual Christian Fest. I was up at 5:00am and arrived at the Theater about 5 hours early. Jump Five did a sound check however no fans were allowed back there to see it. Well the security gaurd was so nice to us because we were there so long that he let us watch them perform God Bless The USA. That was so nice of him. Since it was sooo cold poor Libby was sitting on the stage covered up in her purple blanket. It was windy and very cold.
We got second row seats right in the middle so that was cool. Although we eventually went and stood up by the stage. Jump Five came on and opened with Spinning Around, All I Can Do, Put Me In The Picture, and Forever In My Heart. Then they did their gymnastics moves. Since Libby does not do many of the moves she gave a speach about being fake while the others got water. Her speach was very touching. I really enjoyed it. Then the others came back and they continued the show. They sang change A Heart, Change A World, Joy Ride, Summer Song, Shinning Star, and Beauty and The Beast.
One of the funniest things they did while they were on stage was when Libby, Chris, and Brittany ran into each other. Brittany started laughing at herself. It was so funny.
Then it was time for the meet and greet! They were still so friendly considering how cold it was. Libby had her blanket back on her, Lesley and Brittany had their jackets and Chris eventually put one on. Poor Brandon did not have his jacket so he was so cold.
The wierdest thing happened though! It was very cloudy all day, but when Jump Five go on stage, the sun came out. When they got off the clouds returned! That was kind of weird. The concert was very fun and of course they did a great job.
