Brie-Anne is working with the
McKinley Soil and Water Conservation District towards their goal of restoring the Rio Puerco, a local riparian area.  The District is particularly interested in the eradication of non-native invasive plants such as salt cedar.  Brie-Anne is also involved with environmental education projects in McKinley County, such as Project WET.  Her background is in plant ecology and conservation.
