So began my first five minutes in platoon eight of the martian defence forces.
It didn't get much better. We were sent to the proving grounds only to confront...
A lack of senior instruction staff(apparantly they had all left for lunch). One of the tech's started up the target range for us.....where... um .. total chaos reigned...our um... frolic... with the remote targets was.. OH MY GOD!

er.. yeah.. anyway that ended quickly because the enemy attacked our city (Black Plains) and we were ordered to join the battle line.
The Enemy. They had little egg shaped battle suits. Eggs probably was a good analogy becuase they came apart almost as soon as touched and left goo.. everywhere. However they were eggshells armed with SLEDGEHAMMERS!.
