Six arrested in Indonesia over bomb blast
Police in Indonesia have arrested six people in connection with a bomb blast at a
Jakarta shopping mall last week that injured at least nine people.
The six were arrested after police raided a house on the outskirts of Jakarta, where
they also found grenades, home-made bombs, ammunition and marijuana.
Police say some of the suspects are from the province of Aceh, where rebels have
been fighting for independence for more than 25 years.
Last month a bomb explosion injured at least five people in front of a discotheque in
the capital's Chinatown area.
The recent violence has been attributed to politics, religion and gangland rivalry.
