Bomb explodes in Indonesian city of Ambon
At least 54-people have been injured after a series of explosions rocked Indonesia's
troubled city of Ambon.
Many people, including children have been seriously injured, in what is believed to be
a series of bombings.
Local police say the explosions occurred at a busy shopping area in a predominantly
Christian neighbourhood.
Ambon is the major city in the Maluku islands, where Muslim-Christian violence has
cost at least five-thousand lives in the past three years.
The warring factions signed a peace agreement in February, but tensions remain high
in the area.
