:::What's new with this website:::

6/22/01 - Well, there is much news today!  First off, Brandon and I have made a new potato gun!  This gun is a tribute to the 00 model because it is no longer with us anymore...  Anyways, it is awesome!  It's a little taller than the 01 but a few inches shorter than the taF cannon (that puts it at about 6ft tall or so).  It has a 4" dia. chamber that is about 16" long that reduces to a 3" dia. pipe then again to a 2" dia. pipe.  So that makes the whole chamber itself about 2' long!  Then it reduces once more to a 1 1/4 dia. barrel.  That's awesome considering that it has the biggest chamber of all the guns but also the smallest dia. barrel too!  Think of the mad power and loud boom that comes out of that thing!  Also, I've finally gotten some videos up!  They have been there for a little while but I didn't feel like writing it up here yet.  Check out a new page I just put up with pics of us blowing holes through a door!  Must see!  And for those of you who would like to make a handle for your spud gun, I wrote up some instructions on how to make one.  And if you were ever wondering about a more powerful propellant to use on your spud gun, try out some ether (or starting fluid).  This crap is about as close as you can get to 'gas in a can'.  The trick though, is to use only a tiny little zip of this stuff.  If you spray more than a split seconds worth of it in the chamber, it won't have enough oxygen to burn and won't ignite.  So only use a tiny bit for large chambers to make a nice POW!  But be careful because it's HIGHLY flammable!

5/13/01 - Today our website has reached over 1000 hits in 4 months and 4 days!!  Thanks for visiting and for your support!  Also, I PROMISE that the videos will be up soooon!

5/10/01 - I got rid of those old pics on my Misc. page and added some cool pics of me and my frinds surfing!  Go check em out!

4/6/01 - Yes, I finally updated my website.  But we have still been out shootin the guns and ridin' around in my truck.  We've been having lots of fun with the 01 model with shooting wine bottles!  They fry real good and break real nice too. :)  Also, I added a very ghetto laser pointer onto the taF cannon.  It is actually very accurate!  I'll see if I can get some pics of it up soon.  I added some new pics of the Tater Tosser, all finished up.  Also, check out the new pics of my truck!  I took the top picture at the field were we shoot the guns (just F.Y.I).
:::NEWS FLASH:::
This is very important.  I have learned that potato guns, in the state of Florida at least, ARE considered FIREARMS.  Be very careful when you shoot 'em.  If you are a minor, you must be with an adult.  Just for your own good, don't shoot them without adult supervision, you COULD be arrested!

3/01/01 - I know I haven't been doing much lately to the site becuase of school and other stuff like that, but some weekend I plan on makeing a pneumatic spud gun.  Yes, I'm gonna see what they are all about.  If you got any ideas or have made one that you think works good, I'm open to sugestions, please e-mail me.

2/16/01 - Today I just added a whole lot of new stuff.  First off, last weekend I bought myself a Mazda pickup truck!  Go take a look! Also, we just bought a brand new kick butt scanner.  No more crappy pictures with streak marks and stuff.  So that means that I had to scan a whole bunch of new pictures and put em up here.  So finally I did.  I added some new pictures that should help you find the right parts for making a potato gun, some pictures of my now complete taF cannon, and other little changes to the site.  So keep coming back and roam around for a little bit.  Go check out the new link I put up for Master Blaster Pneumatic Cannons.  It's a really sweet site.  Well, I'm STILL trying to get the videos up, we can't seem to find some cables and crap!!  Oh well, they'll be here soon enough.

2/3/01 - Today Brandon and I took out our potato guns and did a little film shoot.  I finished putting the handle on the taF cannon so you will see how that looks in the videos.  I'll be putting pictures of that up later.  But check back in a few days and we will soon have the videos up for your downloading and viewing pleasure!!!

1/31/01 - Today I added a guestbook.  Hopefuly people will sign it and tell me what could make this site better and about their own potato guns or whatever!  Hem Hem!  =)  Also, I have been painting the guns and taking plenty of pictures.  Here are the first new pictures so far!  Go to the potato gun page to see them!  I will have even more pictures once I finish them up.... so come back soon!!

1/28/01 - Today, Brandon and I got to try out our newest members of our potato gun arsenal I built the day before.  My plans for the perfect potato gun were actually put into action!  I can't hardly believe how well it works!  This is a gun for the SERIOUS spudder!  It is about 6 1/2 feet tall with a 4" x 13" combustion chamber and a 5 foot long 2" barrel.  See the plans here.  This sucker kicks (and I DO mean literally) like a 12 gauge shotgun!!  It can send a golf ball propelled by a potato and hairspray (a potato jammed into the barrel with a golf ball on top) AT LEAST 150 yards!  I'm going to see if I can find something like a measureing wheel or a really long measuring tape to measure how far those spuds can go. =)  Pictures are coming as soon as I paint it and take more pictures of it!  Oh!  And I can't forget the other gun!  I also made myself a little tater tosser with a 2" combustion chamber going into a 2' 4" long barrel with only a 1/2" diameter!  It's about the smallest (not shortest) potato gun I think you can make that will still work!  About the only propellant that works well in it is propane.  Just put about 2-3 seconds worth of gas in it and watch it shoot a tater about 50 ft. or so.  I'll be making a pistol grip for that and the other new gun soon.  We go all out on all our guns!  So come back soon for pics!!

1/27/01 - Hey guys.  I'm about to make a new spud gun soon!  Either I will be makeing a double barrel style one or just a modified version of our 00 model.  If I build another like the 00 model, it will feature a nice wood pistol grip like the 01 model with a combustion chamber like the 01, but reduced to a 00 sized barrel about 4-5 feet long!  I would really like to make a gun  of those dimensions!  And if I can figure out a way to do it, I would also like to have the ignition system be a car spark plug.  =)  If you have any idea on how I could get a spark plug to spark with some kind of battery, please E-mail me!!!
Today I also added plans on how to build a basic potato gun!  Check em out!

1/26/01 - Today I created this "whats new" page.  I will try to put my plans for this site and projects like building more spud guns and other ideas and stuff.  Come check back here every once in a while to see whats going on!!  I'll keep you posted!  I also just put up my links page.  If you clicked on links before, it would take you to my old webpage that's about to be removed.  I don't have much yet, but as soon as I feel like putting up some new sites, I will.  Go check 'em out!

I decided to create this site on Tuesday, January 9, 2001 at 16:34:35 (PST) exactly. =)  From there I just started adding everything to it I could find!  Later I added the pictures and .gifs and stuff.  Looking better every day!
