Victory: Chapter 6
by Jenny

Brian yawned as Lance and his friends, the last of his guests, wandered out the door.  Lance gave him a high-five on his way out, and Brian shut the door behind him.  It was almost 2:15 a.m., and he was exhausted.  He went into the bathroom, washed his face and brushed his teeth, then checked the front and back doors to make sure they were all locked since he was home alone this weekend.  He yawned again as he flicked off the porch light.  Man, I am sooo freakin' tired!  He wandered down the hallway to his room and stopped when he reached his door.  He reach for the handle to open it, but it didn't budge.

It was locked.

"What the fuck?" Brian mumbled out loud.  He shook the handle.  He jiggled the handle.  He pounded on the door.  Nothing.  More curious than mad, Brian went into his parents' bedroom and fished a bobby-pin out of his mom's dresser.  He went back and jimmied the lock on his bedroom door.  When it clicked up, he opened the door.

Brian didn't turn on the light, but the light shining in through the window from the street lamp outside showed more than he wanted to see.  His jaw hit the floor.

Justin and JC were curled up together on his bed, stark naked, and sound asleep.  Justin's fingers were still in JC's hair, and JC's head still rested on Justin's shoulder.  Justin was snoring lightly.

Brian stood there, too shocked to do or say anything.  Two of his best friends in the whole wide world, two guys he thought hated each other, were naked in his bed.  Together.  Brian rubbed his eyes to make sure he was really seeing what he thought he was seeing.  Yup, there they were.  Wow.  Brian debated what to do.  He could wake them up, which he thought would be totally awkward for all three of them, or he could let them sleep there and when they woke up it would only be awkward for them, not him.  He knew it was kinda selfish, but Brian had to admit he didn't want to be there for the awkward wake-up.  He went to the linen closet and grabbed a blanket, then he tiptoed into his room and covered his sleeping friends with it.  As he did so, Brian smiled.  They were sort of cute, he thought, lying there all snuggled together like that.  He couldn't wait to hear the story of what had happened between them.  Shaking his head, he left his room and went to sleep in his parents' bed.

In the morning, JC woke up first.  He had never slept so well before.  When he opened his eyes, he was a little confused about where he was at first, but it all came back to him very quickly.  As his mind surged through the events of the night before, including the fact that he had spent the entire night asleep in Justin's arms, his cock stirred back into an erect state.  JC smiled.

Justin was still sound asleep.  JC snuggled closer, trailing his fingers across Justin's stomach, kissing Justin's shoulder.  Justin mumbled something in his sleep, but JC couldn't make out what it was.  Instead of worrying about it, though, JC wrapped himself around Justin's warm, naked body and drifted slowly back into dreamland.

When Justin woke up, he yawned and moved to stretch but stopped when he realized there was someone sprawled all across him.  What the fuck? he thought, then he looked down at the top of JC's head.  Oh.  My.  God.  Justin squirmed out from under JC, rubbing his eyes and trying to figure out what time it was.  When he caught sight of Brian's alarm clock across the room, which read 10:04 a.m., he swore under his breath.  My mom is going to fucking kill me.

JC rolled over as Justin moved away from him.  When he couldn't find Justin, he blinked his eyes open.  Then he remembered where he was.  He grinned a lazy grin.

"Shit!" Justin said, "It's morning!  Oh, fuck!  We fell asleep."

"Yeah," JC said quietly, still feeling all lazy in Brian's bed, "we did.  Come back here and go back to sleep with me."

Justin looked at JC with one eyebrow cocked.  "Are you nuts?"

"No, just horny.  Come back to bed, 'Lake.  I want s'more of you."

"JC, I have to get out of here now.  My mom's gonna kill me.  I am a dead man.  My parents will never buy the 'I fell asleep' excuse."

"You could just tell her you lost track of time sucking my dick," JC said, rolling over to watch Justin dress.  "You could do it again right now ... then it would be an excuse for this morning, too."  JC tugged back the blanket to show off his erection.

"Fuckin' A, JC.  Knock it off.  Get up.  I am so dead!  You totally don't understand!"

"I do too get it, Timberlake.  My parents aren't going to give me sunny smiles when I roll in, either."

Justin grunted as he pulled on his jeans.  "Well, don't make it worse.  Get up."

JC rolled his eyes, but sat up in bed, musing, "Hey ... I wonder where Brian is?"

There was a knock on the door.  Half-dressed Justin went to open it as JC quickly started to pull on his clothes.  It was Brian.

"Morning, guys," he said, smiling pleasantly.  "Want some breakfast?"

"Um, no...  Thanks, though...  I gotta get home," Justin mumbled, looking everywhere except at Brian.

"Me neither, Bri, but thanks," JC answered from the other side of the room.

Brian nodded.  "So did you guys have fun last night?"

Justin looked up and caught the smirk on Brian's face before he could wipe it off, but JC silenced his friend with a single ice-cold glare.  For good measure, Justin added, "Shut up, Brian, I'm serious."  Brian looked like he wanted to say something else, but he looked at JC again and decided not to try it.  Justin turned to JC, but JC pulled on his shirt and pushed past the other two boys without saying anything else.  Moments later, Brian and Justin heard the front door slam shut.  He hadn't even said good-bye.

"So, 'Lake, can I ask what happened?"

"You can ask, but I'm not saying anything."

"You know this is going to get around school ..." Brian started, letting his voice trail off.

"You wouldn't!  Bri, you're the only one who knows about this."

"Am I?"

"Who else knows?"

"I have no idea, but maybe some heard something or saw something or ...  something."

"Brian, promise me you won't say anything.  Promise me," Justin begged, his blue eyes pleading.

Brian knew that look, and he knew that he couldn't rat on Justin, not when it obviously was that important to the boy.  "I promise," he said.  "What's going to happen w/ JC now?  He seemed pissed on his way out of here."

"I only wish I knew," Justin answered, looking of the window at where JC's car had been.  "I wish I knew."  Then maybe I'd have some sort of clue what to do now.
