| This is Untamed Vessels (UV) third trip to Raub. We would to conclude our series on "Lifestyle Of Worship" that we started since May. We departed from KL very late due to some unpredictable circumstances, and we reached there about 4.45pm....and the next thing is, we have a workshop starting at 5pm. So, we setup the instruments and thank God all things went through smoothly. Philip is the one who conducted the workshop this round, it is on drumming and bass co-ordination. He showed the student many practical way to improve on the drumming skills and areas to pay more attention. The Concert would start on 7.30pm. But as we usually do, we went to a nearby restaurant for a wonderfull dinner...thank you, Ps.Eric and Ps. Elizeberth. Before the meeting actually started, we gather and prayed for the event, ourselves as well as the whole congregation that is with us there to listen and worship God. The "Edi-Fire Concert III" started at 7.30pm. To our surprise, we have more than 30 people turned out, and is the most out of all our visits. And the most encouraging part would be their participation and the interactive part is very interesting, and exciting. All these lovely youth are from Chinese Methodist Church as well as AOG Raub itself. They sing with us, praise with us, and they worship God!!! They even sing our own songs together!!! what a surprise...I mean, it is such an encouragement to us. To see the way the worship, we were touched, and we really believe that God has been working in them. Hanry is the one who shared the message on "The Calling", he also concluded the series with this last section. The message mainly touch on the calling to be a Christian is to be in the ministry where we should serve God wherever we are and whenever it is. It doesn't matter if we are in the "ministries" under a church or not. As long as we live our life that touches life, we are serving God, be it in school, family, or even work place. Basically, it is our lifestyle that preaches, instead of we keep on asking our friends to attend church, but our lifestyle doesn't show much on how a Christian make a difference in the world. Second part of the concert, Hanry shared his personal testimony on how God called him into this ministry, how God fulfills His promises and touched him personally. We ended the meeting with few more songs after that and a prayer of blessing over all of them as well as the land of Raub, especially prayed for all the youth and those who has needs and have a burden to serve in Worship ministry. We had a wonderful fellowship after the meeting and a supper is awaiting us....ha..ha...we travelled back to KL only after our hunger and thirst is satisfied . Thanks God for the food!!! Wow!!! The Tom Yam is Cukup power!!! and the ABC is just special. We really pray that God will continue to search their hearts and they themselves also will continue to seek God wherever they are. May God continue to bless this group of young and energetic people in the land of Raub. Thank you, Ps.Eric, Ps.Elizeberth, Rev.Siew, and Sis.Irenenia, all of you have been so encouraging to us and we really looking forward to return and serve The Almighty God again. Untamed Vessels |
