Knowing Him through daily worship is a redemptive provision of the new covenant where we can literally take on the characteristics of the God we woship; that is, we become partakers of His divine Nature ( 2 Peter 1:4 )
What is Worship?
1. Worship is Becoming like Him.
Worship of an icon  or an idol that begins to transform the individual into a clone of the one they worship
In the same way, as we truly worship the God of Glory, we are allowed to take on the characteristics of God's holiness that sets us apart from the worship of every other god
That's an awesome way to become like Jesus
2. Worship is Treasuring God.
It is allowing ourselves to value Him, His words, His deeds and His thoughts far above of others and ourselves
Worship is seeing what God is worth and then giving Him due honor and adoration
When a person, place or thing is treasured it is sought after as a valuable possession worthy of being obtained; even at a high price
Bible said:" And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." (John 17:3
Knowing God is now and forever
3. Worship is Giving to God.
psalm 96:7 says," Ascribe to the Lord (give to the Lord) glory and strength."
We give Him glory as we see Him to be the prominent recipient of who we are and what we hav
The giving of sacrifices in worship is the act of offering something of value to Him
God is worthy to receive all praises, glory;  honor, power, wealth, wisdom and strength.
He's worth everything I'm willing to give Him
He is big enough to take care of all situations
4. Worship is Dethroning Idols.
False comforts like TV, Idols, foods
Repentance is a form of worship
Seeing and acting on the truth becomes worship
Emotionally and affectionately by His touches
True worship, is submitting all that I am to God
5. Worship is Faith Focused.
Constant pain in our lives related to unresolved issues with God and others is antagonistic toward the holiness and wholeness of God. These issues aim to keep us out of God's healing presence and waste our time in the wilderness
