Welcome to
Untitled, an invite only fanfiction archive/recommendation site for
anime and manga.
I started this site for three reasons; I thought it'd be
spiffy to have my own archive site, I wanted to have a little place on the
net dedicated to my favorite fanfictions, and because a problem with a lot
of other rec sites I rocked up to tended to just link to the fanfiction
itself, instead of archiving it.
Which is a very good idea, and it works.
As long as the site doesn't disappear for some reason (webmaster gets tired
of it and deletes it, etc).
And that can be a bit of a problem with rec sites; they don't actually
archive it (understandably since it's a hell of a lot of work ^^;) but if
the site disappears, so does the fanfiction. And in some cases, the author
has only archived it at one place. ^^;; So this is me being very anal
careful about everything I see.
Um, yeah. But going beyond that; this is a personal rec site -
anything here, I liked. I've seen a few sites mention this, so I'll say so
right now as well; this is NOT meant to be some sort of Elitist rec site
where only the best can go. As well, I have written reviews for fics. Sometimes the
reviews are really informal though; just me rambling on about my favorite
scenes, what I liked about technique etc. I try to keep them as spoiler free as possible, though.
I'm also being careful with everything; I try to keep track with all the
authors here as best as I can, so you'll find different modes of contact
with them; be it through email, webpage, blog, or deviantart account.
Hopefully this will be easier for you if you want to contact them.
Why "Untitled?":
I thought it'd be fun. And a bit of an irony. XD ... And I couldn't
think up any other name. ^^;;
