2002 GAME SCHEDULE:
The University of Oregon Women's Lacrosse Team is a part of the Northwest Women's Lacrosse League. We are also funded in part by the University itself and are a part of the Club Sports Program here at the UO. The team is comprised of players of all skill levels; we welcome the beginner as well as the novice.
We hold practice two days a week in the fall, focusing on refining our skills, conditioning, and bonding as a team. The competitive season starts in the spring, when we usually have a game or a tournament every weekend, along with practice twice a week. We travel by vans to our away games and at home we play on the Turf feild.
Last year we had a great season due to the dedication of all the girls on the team. Overall we won about half of our games and this year we are going to do even better. With tournements in Walla Walla WA, Davis CA and Portland OR we are sure to have an exciting season in 2002.
