Lene has always loved music. And she loves her guitar just as mutch. She fell in love with a guitar in the age of two years old. But she didn't get one before several years later. But it was first that summer when she was on vecation, that here friends contacted the lokal radio-station, that brought Lene in to a studio later. She ended up recording songs. It wasn't just any record company eighter, it was Virgin Records Norway. She made here debut with the lovley song "Sitting down here", who followed up with moore hits: "Where I'm Headed" and "Unforgivable Sinner". Her record "Playing my Game" made just as big succsess! Not only in Norway, but in the U.K, Italy, Japan and all over Europe. Lene won 4 Spellemans awards, 4 Hitawards, 1 MTV and a lot of other awards as well. She sold over 100 000 records in the U.K only, that is really big to be a norwegian =) But all the fame was to much fore this little, normal norwegian girl. She couldn't even spend time with here boyfriend Stian B Simonsen without beeing bothered. Lene choose, of that reason to pull back. In 2001 the country and the rest of Europe got the message thru here manager: that Lene would return as a popartist when she felt strong enough to handle the pressure. She cares a whole lot for here family and friends, and wishes to give them most of the credit fore her possition today. That is maybe one of the reasons to why she is so popular: because she is so normal! Well Lene is back now, with a new album (coming up) So then I guess it speaks for it self: She is strong enough now, but..well, you can se that in the new public pictures can't you ?
